On the 9th of September I flew to Washington D.C. The headquarter of PSI is based in D.C. The onboarding process was very well organised and helped us to understand the structure of an NGO and which goals they will have for the next years. During this week we had a lot of meetings and great presentations of the scope of work of an NGO. Also we had the great opportunity to attend the 2017 Global Health Mini University on September 14th ( I feelt like a student 🙂 ) and joined some lectures about different topics to creativ solving issues with NCDs (noncommunicable diseases like diabetes, hypertensens, etc)
On Friday evening we started to Myanmar…. traveltime 24 hours and time different -10,5 hours – this will not be easy for me 😦
