Mandalay – not only a beautiful name – Myanmar Fellowship 2017

30. Oct. My next customer side visits have brought me to Mandalay. 3 days in and around Mandalay

Mandalay is the second biggest city in Myanmar, but quite different to Yangon. Less cars but therefore a lot of motorbikes, it seems much more cleaner and in the night is the city very dark, because streets lights are missing. In addition to all our customer visits we visited Mandaly hill, where we had a great view over Mandalay and the biggest book. On the way to Sagaing we had the possibility to visit the Kaunghmudaw, which looks like a breast.

At the last morning, my colleague Mika and I get up very early, used a taxi to Amarapura in order to see the sunrise at the U-Bein Bridge – it was beautiful.
