My Fellowship Diary

This is the first time, that I started a blog. The reason for this blog is the great opportunities to work for 3 month abroad and to document my experience during this time, like a small diary for me and my friends. (I write in english so that all my friends can read it, also this is not my mother language and I am not perfect ;-))

A big thanks goes to my company in particular to my bosses, which give me the possibilitie to do 3 month a completely different job and to expand my horizont in job and private wise.

This Fellowship is a special offer for two Alere employees to immerse themselves in a critical healthcare challenge and to work with a leading NGO (PSI) .

The idea is to collaborate with PSI in order to evaluate and make recommendations regarding non-communicable disease (NCD) diagnostics and the role they can play in preventing, detecting and treating NCDs in Myanmar.

I am based in Yangon which is the old main city of Myanmar or also called Burma or Birma in former times 🙂
