03. Nov. Bagan is an ancient city, from the 9th to 13th centuries, the city was the capital of the Pagan Kingdom. During these time over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains alone, of which the remains of over 2,200 temples and pagodas still survive to the present day.
One of the most famous pictures of Myanmar is made in Bagan. If you search for Myanmar, the first picture which you will find is Balloons over Bagan. I was wondering whether i should do a balloon ride or not, the costs for this ride are really hight, but I thought that these chance will be once in my lifetime … have a look at the pictures, then you know how beautiful and impressive it was. A sunset Boat trip was a nice finish for this great day.
