Saturday morning, I had booked a bike tour (26 km) to escaped the hustle & bustle of busy downtown Yangon and to see a littel more of this area. We was a group of 5 (Mika, Jamie and I from PSI, a friend of Mika and a guy from UK) plus two guides, which was a great group.
We explored hidden backstreets and the Indian village of Dala, alongside small villages and colorful markets on the River Island. The guides explained us a little bit more to the different foods and we tried different kinds of cakes…. for me the best cake was with some banana flowers inside – very delicious :-). We undertake river crossings alongside cycling on this tour. It was perfect to explore the rural Myanmar.
PS. you will find some explanations in the descriptions of the pictures 🙂
